Di Chiara Funeral Home

OUR NAME CHANGE

On May 21, 2021, Santangelo Funeral Home officially changed its name to Di Chiara Funeral Home.

However, the change is in name only, as our stellar reputation and all other aspects of the business

remain intact, including our unwavering commitment to the families that entrust us with their patronage.

Susan Di Chiara, formerly Susan Santangelo, our founders daughter, continues to serve proudly as president

of the company.  Susan's son Albert J. Di Chiara extends the family lineage as a third generation funeral director,

having now served the community alongside his grandfather, father and uncle for more than three decades.

William P. Dowson, known affectionately as "Billy", earns distinction as our additional director, and has worked

in the funeral business, shoulder to shoulder with the Santangelo / Di Chiara family since 1989.  While most of

our staff members are familiar faces who have been with us for many years, we would like to proudly announce

the recent addition of Amber-Marie Morales.  Amber is finishing her studies to become a funeral director,

and has joined the Di Chiara team as an intern.

The name change comes as we mark our 70th anniversary, and in doing so, celebrate our founder,

and those who have graciously carried on his legacy of providing comfort and dignity to those most in need.

A legacy that we pledge to honor and uphold for years to come.
